Language

America unofficial language since 1776 has been English. Within this language is a tie that bonds each American to another.  It allows us to communicate unrestricted with one another. It embodies our customs and shared heritage.  However, for the past generation, our language has been rivaled by mainly the Latin American form of Spanish. Political correctness and a severe disconnect of the young from American culture has allowed this rival culture and language to endanger America’s future as it has been known.  In parts of Texas, Florida, and California English is rarely spoken. An American travelor may be well prepared to learn basic Spanish if traveling to a city like Miami. What will happen when a country becomes bilingual? Will it survive or will fail?

The language of a society is generally overlooked and underestimated as social adhesive.  In America, we have taken our dialect of English for granted. On our current pace, we will become a bilingual country. Eventually, this division will lead to the division of our country.

AHS will compile a list of actions that must be enacted to preserve our language for the sake of America’s survival.

  • Constitutional Admendment establishing English as America’s official language.
