Coca, which can be synthensized into the infamous Cocaine, has many cultural, religious, and medicinal uses. The people of the Andes have used the Coca plant without it deteriorating their society. They have managed to incorporate this plant into their society without creating a crime-infested community. Futhermore, they have declined to radically alter and concentrate the euphoria producing chemicals of the Coca plant. Instead, it has the effect of a large Starbucks coffee. It is used to stave off hunger and it can increase endurance. Generally, in its Andean form it rarely creates an addict.
