Food made with High Fructose Corn Syrup found to have Mercury

January 30, 2009 by · Leave a Comment

New studies reveal further damaging information regarding high fructose corn syrup (HFCS).  Over half of the studied products were found to have dangerous amounts of mercury in it. Beyond the known issues of obesity and diabetes related risks, now child mental retardation and other physical ailments are now added to the list of reasons not to eat or drink food that have HFCS.

Mercury should not be consumed in any amount. Infants are most vulnerable to this toxic substance. Predictably, the companies that use HFCS dispute the findings. An easy way for consumers to nevermind the troubles associated with HFCS is to avoid any products that lists it as an ingredient.  Buy natural and organic ingredients and cook more at home as ways to avoid HFCS.

Healthy Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe

AHS is dedicated to addressing many facets of day- to-day life. This includes what a person decides to eat. Healthy eating is normally labeled as bland and dry. No, it is not. That is the description for diet food which is drastically different from health food. Diet food needs lab-created ingredients to maintain its low calorie designation. Health food is not concerned with the calorie intake. It is more concerned with portion control of rich and tasty food. The type of food that only uses ingredients that have been around for thousands of years and not the past 200 years.

Capitalism without Morals

January 27, 2009 by · Leave a Comment

AHS supports a free market economy and a laissez-faire goverment. However, all things have limits and must have limits if we are to maintain our country. American citizens should be basically entitled to the free market within the American borders. Once the citizens start to do business outside of the borders of this country, regulatory action must be enacted to ensure national security. Non-citizens should not be entitled to the same degree of free market business that citizens are entitled to in America.

One on One

  1. Making yourself appealing to others.
  2. Show interest in others’ goals and dreams.
  3. Be honest and true to yourself about what is desired in a person of the opposite sex.
  4. Make sure that the things that you feel are important are also important to your love interest.

How simple can it all be? Following these basic rules will allow you to find true love. How many times we all have heard men and women state how hard it is to find a good man or woman? Well, just like any product on the market, per se, a good man or woman will be the first taken. This is not to say there are not good eligible men and women over the age of 30. This statement is only declaring the amount of “good” men and women are drastically reduced.

Just when we thought Halitosis was bad…Mouthwash & Cancer linked

January 17, 2009 by · Leave a Comment

Another case of capitalism without morals, mouthwash, particularly the ones containing alcohol have increased the likelihood of oral cancer. Alcohol kills bacteria. However, it also dries the mouth. A dry mouth is a perfect environment for bacteria. So, the effect of the mouthwash is temporary as the bacterium makes a double effort to repopulate the oral cavity.

Where hydrogen peroxide is a naturally occurring substance found naturally in rainwater, breast milk, and created in our blood to kill pathogens via oxidation, it can also be used to debride the mouth.

Thank God for Scientists… Advanced Designer Babies

January 12, 2009 by · Leave a Comment

In another example of science displaying its vast potential while overstepping the natural boundaries, scientists have created the first breast cancer gene-free baby. Hitler and Margaret Sanger would be proud.

These well-meaning fools have failed to realize that cancer is not predestined. Like homosexuality, a person may have the predisposition for a particular defect, however, it is the environment that activates the pathology.

Melting Icecaps Reduce CO2 Levels…

January 5, 2009 by · 2 Comments

Ahh! So, much for the theory that melting ice caps are bad for the Earth. Nothing, absolutely nothing that occurs on this planet is bad for the planet. Somethings may be catastrophic to humans but never the Earth.

Just when we thought that the IPCC was the absolute authority on Global Warming theory, we find that there is a growing minority of scientists that disagree with their consensus findings. Much of the scientific findings today regarding global warming or climate change are bogus. All of the findings are dependent upon computer models that can be managed in way that will give the researcher any result they wish to have. Also, if the Earth is as reported, 4.6 billion year old, how silly is it for the scientific community, whether they are for or against the global warming/climate change theory, to claim to know with any accuracy the Earth’s climatic patterns?
